Texas Prison Inmate Search
Do you need to find someone in Texas prison? If a family member or loved one has been sent to prison, you might be wondering how to find them. Probably you want to write to them and stay in touch while they do their time.
I used to be able to display a form on this page that let folks search for inmates within TDC but the folks at TDCJ have changed the way things work and I cannot make it work now. I hope to have a solution soon. Meanwhile please continue to send your questions to me and I will keep trying to help y’all. Sorry for the hassle.

Hello again T-Mag, I see you are a very busy man but your help is so appreciated by all! I’m in need of your help, IF possible. First, are you only able to locate Prison inmates bcuz the person I’m looking for is for sure in a county jail. I’m going to give as much info as I have and hope for some Magnum magic. A friend of mine went to Texas to pick up her son in San Antonio but was stopped in Hudspeth County and arrested for a large quantity of marijuana. This occurred sometime after Jan. 13th, I don’t know exactly. So she’s for sure in a county jail but I’m getting nothing going through those locator sites. Anyway, I was hoping you can give it a try to see if you can come up with something. All the info I have is: Rhonda L. Morse, 48 white F. I know it’s a long shot but I thought I’d try. Thanks!
Hi Mark, well I located her. She is in Hudspeth County, you are correct. She was arrested on Jan. 15th. Hi Amanda, I am glad to hear you did some counseling. I am sure you have taught your children to protect themselves and be alert to dangers as well.
Albert Daniels projected release date at this time is Sept 2015. That is usually somewhat accurate. But depending on a lot of factors, like if he got himself into some trouble in the prison in the meantime, he could be there longer, the maximum amount of time being until Oct. 2016.

I did counseling for a long time , the night mares never go away. However if I can protect my kids and know what he looks like, that is my concern. Can you tell me if you know when he is supposed to be let out for sure.
Albert daniels how do I find out what he looks like now. I am the victim and I don’t know what he looks like today and he gets out in two years. Can you help? I want to know what he looks like so that away , I know if he is around me. It has been almost 20 years and to this day he scares me. He is in the beto unit
Hello Amanda. Texas does not publish photos of inmates, like some other states do, so there is not a way for you to see what Albert Daniels looks like now. Have you looked into some sort of victim counseling for yourself? You went through something terrible but don’t let him have that power over you any more. Remember, over the past 20 years you have matured yourself, and learned a lot about life. I am sure you have become a lot stronger in every way than you realize. Hang in there, and live your life without feeling scared of him or anyone.

Hello Jessica. You are correct, Anthony Kelly is in Middleton Unit. I am not sure what you are asking, since you already know he is there, but you can write to him there, if you want to communicate with him. You should include his TDC number on the envelope. His number is 01873524.

Hello Luisa, there is not a person with that name and birthdate in the TDC database. There are a couple with other birth dates. Looks like he is not be in TDC custody, are you just trying to check all places he might be or did you think he was incarcerated? Good luck to you in your search. Peace.

I dont know whice felony it would b but u can look her up as maria ramirez her tdc number 01858… her projected out date says 2/5/2013 its for fraud but idk the detail will this help u find the info for me please thank u.
correction on my mom’s out date 2014 not 2013 and her middle name is rios so maria rios ramirez thank u
Hey Stephanie, insurance fraud for that amount of money involved is a state jail felony. That does mean she will serve her sentence day-for-day and be released on the actual release date in February. Best of luck to you and your family, I hope you are all together again soon.

You do need to register to receive calls.
Hi it’s me again found the person I was looking for also found out his sentence is a little longer then what we thought now need your help!!! On how to set up an account to receive call from state jail hopefully you can help me with these thanks in advance…
Well I am glad you found him. You can look at this page for some info about setting up a phone account: http://www.tdcj.state.tx.us/mediasvc/offender_telephone/index.html. I personally opted not to do phone calls when I was in TDC. It seemed letter writing was better for me and my family, so I am not an expert on it.
